Uni del Bonnesant comes from a tiny corner of Monte Alabanza facing southeast, the most extreme and singular parcel of our vineyard. Here, the limestone soils reach their purest expression, and the vines produce small clusters of remarkable concentration and depth.
The grapes were 100% destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in a single open French oak barrel. During fermentation, extraction was limited to one very gentle daily punch-down. The wine remained in contact with its skins for 45 days before being aged for just over 12 months in the same neutral French oak barrel. It was bottled without filtration.
The 2023 vintage expresses a Uni del Bonnesant of extraordinary purity and precision. It is a wine that transcends the varietal to speak exclusively of its origin. The nose is deep and subtle, revealing crushed limestone, delicate floral notes, and a profound mineral character. On the palate, it combines vibrant energy, an exceptionally fine texture, and remarkable tension that lingers for minutes. For us, it is the most intimate and extreme expression of Monte Alabanza.
Total production of the 2023 vintage:
348 bottles (750 ml).
